Agents are now responsible for keeping their carrier and state appointments up to date in the Carrier Tab in HealthSherpa. Karen explains where to find it and how to ensure your settings are accurate.NPN Override Changes
States like Wisconsin, North Carolina, and South Dakota are now prohibiting NPN overrides. Agents must be appointed directly with each carrier in each licensed state. More states are expected to follow, so agents are encouraged to submit appointment requests now—before the rush of OEP.Contracting Blackouts
Ambetter: Transfer blackout lifts April 15
Oscar: Transfer blackout expected to lift in June
These blackouts only apply to transfers—new appointments are not affected.
