Key Highlights:

Consent & Compliance Reminders
Karen walks through updated CMS guidelines and state-specific rules on agent consent, NPN overrides, and agent-of-record processes. A strong reminder: get consent at the beginning and end of every enrollment—and keep records for 10 years.
State-Specific NPN Rules
North Carolina, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wisconsin now prohibit NPN overrides. Agents must be both licensed and appointed with the carrier—even when using an override.
Georgia Marketplace Update
Georgia's shift to a state-based exchange (Georgia Access) brings new agent-of-record assignment processes, mirroring the federal FFM model.
Contracting Updates
- Ambetter’s blackout has been lifted—transfers are now open through August 31.
- Oscar’s blackout ends June 1.
  Time-sensitive instructions are sent via email—don’t miss them.
Agent Portal Login & Security
O’Neill’s Agent Portal now includes two-factor authentication for increased security. Karen explains how to update your phone number if needed.
