1. Let’s start with the big one — how are you viewing the current CMS changes and the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill”?
“There’s no denying it’s a major shift,” Chuck said. “But these changes were always coming. The key is to read between the lines. CMS wants more transparency, more accountability, and more consumer protections. That aligns with what we’ve been doing for years.”
Rather than resist, Chuck views the shift as validation: “If you're already operating with integrity, with systems in place, and putting clients first, you're already ahead of the curve.”
2. A lot of agents are feeling uncertain about what this means for their business. What would you say to those who are unsure of what comes next?
“First, take a breath,” Chuck said. “You’re not alone and you’re not behind.”
He emphasized that uncertainty often leads to paralysis, but it doesn’t have to. “There’s so much opportunity here. The agents who stay informed, who lean on their support teams, who adapt quickly—those are the ones who win.”
3. You’ve talked a lot about finding opportunity in disruption — where do you see the biggest opportunities for agents right now?
“This is the time to diversify. PPOs, supplemental, life––it’s all on the table,” Chuck explained.
He pointed out that agents with a national reach, multiple product lines, and smart tech tools will stand out. “The market is wide open, especially for agents who can position themselves as full-service solution providers.”
4. What makes O’Neill different in how we support agents during times like these?
Chuck lit up at this one: “This is where we thrive.”
O’Neill Marketing isn’t just offering contracts, we're offering a system:
A robust agent portal with tools like the Customer Tab
A deep bench of industry experts ready to help
Decades of experience navigating regulatory changes
“We don’t disappear when things get tough. We double down.”
5. What’s one thing every agent should be doing right now to set themselves up for success this year?
Without hesitation, Chuck said: “Get intentional.”
“Be strategic about your book. Know your markets. Embrace the tools we’ve built. Most of all, don’t try to go it alone. Partner with a team that’s invested in your success.”

While many are treading cautiously in the wake of new rules, Chuck O’Neill sees a different path: bold moves, smart partnerships, and a whole lot of opportunity for those ready to take it.
